I think the best promotion is to be visible, welcoming, provide top notch
service and reach out to everyone, and be very, very involved in technology.

Others:
individual meetings with staff
group meetings with staff
meet with advisory groups
public presentations (school boards etc)
 collaboration with community groups, community ed
program newsletters
frequent inforamtion poisted in the faculty bulletin (print or email)
media center web sites
newspaper articles
