Dear Folks, This is my second year as SLMS in a small catholic school. I am rebuilding the library from virtually scratch with a 1500/yr budget. I have solicited donations and added over 20,000 worth on new books... Our new ESL teacher feels I should include books in other languages. I am inclined to only have bi-lingual books. I have limited space and resources. We are an English immersion school with sheltered subject matter teaching from her. I suggested that she keep a separated foreign language colelction in her office...she feels that it should be in the library. What have others done? I will consult the principal regarding how she wants the library to go, but any advice is appreciated.
