TARGET:ELEM:What do you do on your first day with students k-6?

I'm  a  brand new  library  media  tech.  I  have  been  a  teacher  for  15
years,  but  in  this  new  position  I'm  a  little  unsure  of  where  to
start?  I  know  I'll  have  to  present  some  ground  rules,  but  what
else  would  you  do?
