Friends, My school district has always had a policy that only allows students to = check out 3-4 books (elementary). It was raised at my urging. Some of = my teachers restrict the children even more, saying you can only take = one book or two. I know that many schools have such policies. Why? = most public libraries don't have a limit on the number of books children = can check out. Is it a carry over from the old days when we didn't have = many books and they were precious.=20 How are you handling this in your elementary schools? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
