We are looking to do a project with all ninth graders in their science class
(biology). We have one we are considering regarding health issues. One of
the teachers is interested in doing something having to do with forensic
science. We are not interested in students doing traditional reports, the
kind they get over with by cutting and pasting and not even reading
material.

Have you/your science teachers had any success doing a non-traditional
assignment in biology that you are willing to share? This could be dealing
with forensic science or some other aspect of science.

TIA!
