I am needing help in this matter. I have a teacher that is demanding that her 5th graders be able to check out books to other students. When I said, no because this is a matter of confidentiality, she then took it to the principal. The long and short, my principal is telling me that I have to teach select 5th graders how to check out books. I know that this has been discussed in different forms. But I need info for tomorrow. Please help me by sending sources for not having student helpers. But between us: I really don't have a problem with it. So I'm not sure how much I really want to push it. Thanks.
