May I publicly thank Jennifer, Carol and Sandi for allowing me to forward their recent messages about the use of videos, and an example of testing gone mad to two national Australian lists. So often we can get bogged down in the details of daily school life that we lose sight of the big picture of what we do and why we do it and every now and then we need a little shake to revisit what it was that brought us into education in the first place. Their messages gave me an opportunity to do that without having to actually take the responsibility for the statements! I am currently looking for another position (long story and not easy) and I value the professional development that my membership to lists like LM_NET provides so much, that is in very high on my CV! Now, I must do something else on this cold, blustery Sunday morning - like my income tax!
