I am tearing my hair in frustration. I'm trying to get a new
database program to work for a cataloging project. The sortware is
on a CD-ROM and my computer isn't recognizing anything in the drive.
I have a Mac clone (SuperMac C500, Umax) and have just found out the
reason it won't read anything in the CD drive is that the C500 is
incompatible with the OS 8 driver setup. So I need to find an
earlier drive setup (are you still with me?) I actually found out I
need the Drive Setup 1.2.2. I've searched the Apple site, the
MacFixIt site and the ZDNet site. Nothing. Before I go bald, does
anyone have a suggestion?

Many thanks!!
Johanna
