Hi, I've been asked to see if anyone on the list--in Florida (or the southeast region) has had a school visit from an author who resides in Florida (or nearby). We are interested in scheduling a visit for this year (and I know that time is passing quickly) and want someone who would be entertaining and informative for elementary aged kids (and, obviously, within budget). It seems that the administration wants an assembly (or assemblies) to target Grades 2-5, if not the entire K-5 population. Has anyone had a visit from a Floridian author that was a positive experience? I really appreciate your suggestions/advice/warnings(!) etc. Thanks, Kathy Hutton, Library Media Specialist Vineland Elementary School, Rotonda West, FL khutton@ewol.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
