DBQs for NYS

Hi to all that have responded with what are DBQs or are just wondering what
they are.  I guess I did a lot of assuming that everyone would know what
they are.  I'm really surprised that more states aren't using them!  In NYS
for different grade level assessments and regent exams utilize DBQs
(document-based questions).  They are primary sources, such as a song,
picture, photo, cartoon, or poem. Donna
