GEN: pre-automation library supplies

The UNT School of Library and Information Sciences will be embarking on
a project to create and catalog a school library in an impoverished
area
of Jamaica. Due to lack of electricity, training and security, we have
elected not to automate this library. So we are seeking donations of
supplies from pre-automation days. If you have any catalog cards
(especially computer feed or laser cards), book pockets or circulation
cards that you would be glad to get out of your cabinets, we will
gratefully accept your donations. Even a few will help. Please mail
them
to the address below.

As one of the local sponsors of this project wrote us: These children
will never leave the area. All they will know of the world is what
they
read in books.

Please help us help these wonderful children have as rich an
experience
as possible.
