I had many requests for information on the Visa program called "Choices and Decisions" offered free by Visa. I went on line and found this information - hope it helps: Visa U.S.A. is proud to partner with the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy to bring teachers, students and consumers Choices & Decisions: Taking Charge of Your Financial Life, free of charge. This multimedia educational program is designed to educate consumers of all ages on a number of personal finance subjects, including budgeting, saving and investing, and the most recent developments in e-commerce, on-line banking, the emergence of debit cards, Internet resources, and other money management tools. High school and college teachers can integrate the curriculum directly into their lesson plans for a one-time course or a year-long program. Choices & Decisions includes: 7 A 14-chapter lesson plan book, with overheads, activities and exercises covering budgeting, saving, investing and how to recognize financial trouble-plus resources to find solutions. 7 An interactive CD-ROM including a fun interactive game about financial decision making, a quiz show to test students' fiscal savvy, a loan and credit card calculator as well as a series of budget work sheets. 7 A teaching video, that corresponds with the lesson plan designed to illustrate a variety of financial situations and spark in-class conversation. Financial literacy is a priority for Visa and we are committed to distributing thousands of copies of the interactive curriculum nationwide. In addition to the Jump$tart Coalition, Visa worked with a team of advisors to develop the Choices & Decisions curriculum, including the National Foundation for Consumer Credit (NFCC), the National Coalition for Consumer Education and the National Consumers League. For a free copy of the curriculum please call (800) VISA-511, for the CD-ROM please call (888) VISA-606.
