I have a fourth grader who lost her older sister to sudden illness about two years ago. Since then she has been asking for books about death and dying. She has read everything I could find (via ILL) that was remotely related and geared to elementary school age. Today she asked me for more. I've run out of titles, fiction or nonfiction. So what to do? Come to LM_NET, of course. What titles can you recommend about dealing with grief for elementary and middle school? Fiction is great too (she's read Terabithia, Mick Hart, Taste of Blackberries). Especially welcome are stories of dealing with a sibling's death. Many thanks!!
