I hope it's all right to reply to the whole list, but I've wanted to say a good word about Book Systems, Inc. Last spring our database was successfully converted into their Concourse system. The conversion, which was difficult, because our records were in on old format, went very well. We had had a bad experience with trying to convert to another system. Now we are up and running on Concourse, and I've cataloged all by backlog of materials from last year, using eZcat. Both products are excellent, and I'm a very happy customer. I'd be glad to answer any individual questions for anyone. I think Concourse is easy to use and has good tech support. It's affordable and a good option for smaller libraries, though it's now being installed in some large systems too. -- Jane Hyde, Librarian St. Dunstan Library Christ School Arden, NC 28704 jhyde@christschool.org =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
