Hi all, Asking to tap into the collective wisdom of the group. I have had a request for the names of the "7seas"...... as in "Sinbad sailed the 7 seas." I have checked several places and can find references to and historical explanations of the term "7 seas," but no listing of what the 7 were supposed to be. Is this just one of those expressions that has always been used and never defined or were there really 7 seas that were counted out? Any help off-list would be appreciated.
