I have a third grade teacher asking me to come up with an author who her students can read throughout the year and then have a video conference with in the spring. I think that this is a tall order and I have not figured out who or how. Scholastic offers set video conferences at set times. Has anyone ever set up such a thing with an author? BTW, she thinks they will do this for free. "They just have to drive to a nearby college where they can find a setup for this" she says. She looked amazed when I told her this was unlikely. HELP!
