LM_NET: Library Media Networking

You don't say what level you are asking about or where you are, but maybe
this will help.
I've only been a librarian for 3 years, and I don't have a very large
budget.  I've never banned a book.
At my 2 elementary schools the most popular series are American Girls and
Goosebumps.
