Hi out there, I am a grad student at Queens College and am working on a paper about Caldecott winners. One of the things we are trying to find information on the affect winning the Caldecott Medal influenced their future works. Does anyone know where articles might been found? Anything on the inner workings of the Caldecott committee and inside stories? How the times have affected their work? I have been reading Newbery and Caldecott Medal Books, by Horn Books, A Caldecott Celebration, by Leonard Marcus, Caldecott and Co, by Maurice Sendak, and Artists of a Cerain Line; A Selection of Illustators for Childrens Book, by John Ryder thanks in advance, Ken Kugler, CLASP Librarian Queens Public Library, kenck@att.net =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
