In my book "100 More Research Topic Guides for Students," one of the guides is on creation myths. One of the web sites I suggest is www.magictails.com (an illustrated series of original creation myths). Hope the website is still active. If not, just use metacrawler (www.metacrawler.com) to search for Creation Myths. Some suggestions I give for narrowing the topic include: 1. Compare three to five creation myths from different cultures, discussing recurring themes and other similarities. 2. How do theories of creation in creation myths differ and/or compare with scientific theories of evolution? 3. Compare three creation myths from different cultures with the Biblical story of creation. My the way, the book is published by Greenwood Press. It's very helpful -- I use it a lot with my students.
