looking for book title

Good day all!

I was hoping someone out there could help me out.  Today I had a teacher
come to me looking for the title of a book about lemmings.  We are looking
for the title of a chapter book at a 3rd to 5th grade level.  In the
particular book, one particular lemming decides not to jump off the cliff
at the end of the story when everyone else runs and dives off a cliff.
 Unfortunately, this is all the information we have.  We do not even have
an author's name.

Any help you could give us would be greatly appreciated.
