Just a thought -
Keeping the "I" statement in mind - after I've said "excuse me" to get their
attention, I generally say "I need you to help me work with your class.
Could you check out what 'whoever' is doing, while I work with these folks
here."
And I try (try, I repeat ;>) to remember the saying "say what you mean, mean
what you say, don't say it mean"
