Hi Jacqueline and anyone else with a similar problem,

Check with your network administrator, but it should be possible to set up a
generic password for the newies.

[I've done that in my library, very simple, Log-in = library, password =
library. This has been set up so it only allows access to the Internet, not
to any file space on the server, so student's can't save anything except to
local floppies - which is generally not allowed, except in exceptional
circumstances. (I'm a sucker for a sob story.)

I'd meant to change it once a term, but so far there hasn't been any 'abuse'
of the system, so maybe it can just stay as it is.]

Be sure to enable (or have someone else enable) multiple log-ins for that
password - otherwize only one student will be able to use it.

If this presents a security problem to your school's network, you can have
the password axed at the end of the day of the presentation.

Hope this helps?
Amanda Credaro
