Target: Collection Development Plan

I am taking a Collection and Development graduate course this semester.  =
One of our assignments is to make a collection development plan.  I was =
wondering if anyone has a sample I could refer to.  I have looked in the =
archives, but didn't see anything.  I also checked on a search engine =
for web sites, but only saw items about collection policies.  Some =
things I have to include in this project are strengths and weaknesses of =
a current collection and a sample curriculum study, which is very =
confusing to me.  I am going to be using a collection from an elementary =
school that is by my house.  Any information would help.
