Helllo all. = I am hoping some of the real techies out there can answer this. Our scho= ol has instituted a policy of no streaming audio or video regardless of educational value or not. While I don't agree with the policy as being implemented I do understand the reasoning - bandwidth. I will try my best= to enforce but want some information. I would presume that not all audio and visual available from the internet= is "streaming". I am thinking that "streaming" requires one of the plugin= s such as readaudio or quicktime. Am I correct in this assumption? What I really want is both a way to tell for sure that the audio and vide= o a student may be accessing is or is not "streaming". Then I can both enforce the policy and at the same time let students see some of the vid= eo and audio available. I can also defend myself when questioned about why I= am not "enforcing the policy". Any help would be most appreciated. Deborah J. Stafford Gen. H.H.
