I did not realize that there were so many people in the same boat with me.
I have had numerous requests for a hit on this topic. I am going to list
the different suggestions and then what I have decided to do.

I am also going to directly cc everyone who asked for a HIT in case they
miss the posting.

1. Take it somewhere they sharpen lawn mower blades - (this is the # 1
suggestion)

2. Get a new one from RESA.

3. Take it where ice skates are sharpened. (This person also said I
would probably want to look for somewhere they do hedge
trimmers. We don't do a lot of ice skating in South Georgia. <grin>)

4. Blacksmith (This is actually a good thought for me. We have an
historical town here which has a working blacksmith.)

5. Shop teacher

6. Knife sharpener

7. Cutting through sandpaper

8. Chain saw sharpener

As it turns out, one of our teacher's FIL is retired, but will sharpen lawn
mower blades and such from his home. I hope to get him to do the work. It
is kind of like keeping it in the family.
