Tech: PDA & digital camera memory question

Hi,

I have a Palm M515 PDA. It uses Secure Digital (SD) or MultiMedia Card (MMC)
expansion cards.

I am about to purchase a digital camera. I am almost ready to buy a Canon
Powershot A40. However, it uses Compact Flash. I'm wondering if there is a
good reason to buy a camera which uses the same type of memory as my PDA.
