Is anyone familiar with the short story "Ordeal by Cheque" by Wuther Crue? It was published in a 1932 issue of Vanity Fair. One of my Language Arts teachers is looking for it & all I can find is a page and a half listing of checks written. Is this the entire story or is there more to it? I cannot find it in the Short Story index or any of my Story Collections. If anyone knows of this story, I would appreciate more information.
