Being a Pampered Chef consultant, I've done a Pampered Chef Show as a
fundraiser. We did the order sheet with 11 items AND a regular show with
all of the products in the catalog (sort of a catalog party). I also set up
a gift registry ... but I made it so people could order and use the media
center as the recipient.
It was VERY SUCCESSFUL! Kitchen supplies can be used by everyone.
I've also done the book fair...it's been successful, too.

My name is LaVonne and I am currently a library media specialist-in-
training. I have been reading the successes and failures about the book
fair fundraisers that the library media centers put on to raise funds
each year. I read an article in a library magazine about a library media
center that fundraises by selling coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies once
a month to raise funds. Has anyone tried any other fundraisers in their
library media centers other than book fairs? If so, how successful were
the fundraisers?
