LM_NET Archive



That's a good point.  Much of what my mother and I have found on our family
history has been information that we found online and then actually did the
"footwork" by visiting cemeteries, courthouses, and calling individuals who
made appointments with us to visit.  We have located primary documents by
doing this "double-check" system because we also needed documents in order
to verify specific needs--Indian Roll Numbers, Daughters of the American
Revolution, etc.

Double-checking and making copies of primary documents (when found) will be
worth the time spent!
