We are a high school serving grades 9 through 12=2E We have some titles that we would like to catalogue as being an easier read than the rest of our collection=2E These are not specifically high-interest low-vocabulary books, although a few of them may be=2E The books may simply be shorter, or a lower reading level (i=2Ee=2E grade 5-7 reading level)=2E We do not want the labelling to be so blatant that the kids feel "uncool" reading these books=2E But we'd like it to be easy to figure out for both students and staff=2E Do other schools differentiate these kinds of books, and if so, what subject heading do you use in your cataloguing? Any suggestions would be appreciated=2E Please email me directly= =2E Amy Johnston, Library Technician Swift Current Comprehensive High School Swift Current, SK=20 ajohnston@scedk12=2Ecom =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
