I am "slowyly" weeding fiction and find that our students rarely read mystery, not the kind I like anyway. Nor do they read much esponiage. The Dick Francis books never get checked out. Do any of your students read Victor Canning? We probably have 10 of his books that are never checked out. The librarian before me was wonderful, but she bought a lot of mysteries, etc. that the students don't seem to read at all anymore. Can you suggest some authors that are better for teens than the popular adult mystery authors? Thanks.
