LM_NET Archive

Dianna, I"ll vote NO... why? My screen has limited space for the
subject line, and lm_net (or lmnet) uses up space. You *can* filter
your messages to folders based on the address, and then you know
where it's from. I do this in both Outlook and Pegasus.

However, we do have topics for lm_net, that most people don't use,
despite constant pleas from Peter. Off the top of my head they are
GEN, REF, ELEM, MID, SRH, TRAV (for all those 'off topic travel
posts), ADMIN, SHARE, RECIPE (this Friday) ... (the complete list is
at the website) If people used them more it would be much more
helpful than prefixing each subject with limnet.

And yes, I've been on email discussion lists for a fair number of
years and I'm also a list owner. (and they're not listservs, since
all lists do not use LSoft's software... pet peeve <grin>
