I have had a request from a student who would like the tribal (preferably Cherokee) symbol for "mother". I have done Google, Dogpile and iLOR searches. I have seen the symbols.com site but did not find what he wants there. I have found a multitude of Native American Indian sites and have found symbols for animals and other earth symbols but not "mother". Maybe there is no symbol? I have checked the books in our Media Center...maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? Any ideas out there? Please post to my school address: Rose.Harmon@fwcs.k12.in.us Thanks a million!
