Our school allows students to go all over the building before school. They visit with friends in the halls and in the rooms where the teachers are present. Many students come to the library to do homework or research. The students are very responsible for their actions so there rarely are problems. This policy is the same in inclement weather. -----Original Message----- From: Amanda Credaro [mailto:acredaro@HOTMAIL.COM] Sent: Friday, February 01, 2002 2:14 AM To: LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU Subject: TARGET: SEC - Wet Weather & Libraries? <html><div style='background-color:'><DIV></DIV> <P>Dear American colleages (and others beyond Australia),</P> <P>I'm wondering what is the "norm" for your schools in inclement weather? Is your library open to an unlimited number of students - under the supervision of one school librarian/LMS, or do you limit the number of students who come to shelter from the elements? Or maybe classroom colleagues are redeployed from areas where they are obviously not needed in the playground/yard/outdoor areas?</P> <P>Many thanks for any information that is forthcoming,</P> <P>Amanda</P> <P>******************************** </P> <DIV></DIV>Amanda Credaro <DIV></DIV>Teacher Librarian <DIV></DIV>Seven Hills High School, <DIV></DIV>NSW, AUSTRALIA <DIV></DIV>phone: (02) 9624 3329 <DIV></DIV>Fax: (02) 9838 8553 <DIV></DIV>email: abcredaro@ozemail.com.au <DIV></DIV> <DIV></DIV> <DIV></DIV></div><br clear=all><hr>Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: <a href='http://go.msn.com/bql/hmtag2_etl_EN.asp'>Click Here</a><br></html> =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
