Not only ride the Tour (TIOOYK).  If memory serves me correctly, it being =
Friday and all, Lemond got two of his Tours and his second Worlds after =
the hunting incident.  Lemond also did not have nearly the team support =
Lance gets.

They are both great cyclists and inspirations.

Greg Lemond was the first American to win the Tour de France and he won it =

times in the 1980's.  A remarkable feat putting him up there with the best
ever.  He was nearly killed by an accidental gunshot wound during a =
hunting
accident in Minnesota but came back to ride the tour again.
