Books like Christmas Carol

I have a 9th grade student who is starting a literature research project.
She would like to do this on books with a supernatural element where someone
is transported in time by a supernatural being, such as Dickens' A Christmas
Carol.  Any suggestions as to titles or where I might find such a list of
suggestions.
