Hi all -
I have just re-read the AASL snippet about the ESEA monies appropriated by
Congress for school libraries. It says nothing about how it will be
distributed or who the lucky recipients will be. Does anyone know if we
will all receive this money or will it only go the the neediest districts?
IMHO, although my district is not classified as needy, the library certainly
is with the average age of the collection being 1980 and with the school
board unwilling (unable?) to provide adequate funding. If you know how and
when anyone will receive anything, I'd like to know.
