I'd like to note in the MARC record of books the ethnicity of an author. For Black History Month (especially) it would make finding the titles and creating a bibliography a lot easier. I was thinking about using MARC field 655. Is this the best place for this info? I wish there was some way to globally add a tag (I'm using LibraryWorld v. 1.0x on a Dell / Windows 98), so I wouldn't have to add each one individually. Has anyone ever done this before, and if so, what tag do you use? Thanks!
