Does anyone else with a filtering system run into the same problem we do? When we try to log into some of the LM_NET suggested hoax sites, we find that our filter has been set up (we've never been told just who does this!) to not let us see sites that are classified as "alternative journals" (The Onion - Americans With No Abilities Act) or "tasteless" (Realaroma). Kind of prohibits doing a lesson on that topic! I've often wondered how many television shows would make it through our filter! Didn't H.L. Mencken say something about "taste"? from Garry Jantzen, Librarian N7SBG Marshfield High School http://www.marshfield.coos-bay.k12.or.us/library/ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
