Dear Friends, Once again I'd like to gather your recommendations for the best of the children's books of 2001. Please list your favorites, whether or not they are Newbery/Caldecott/Printz material. If you can, mark them as primary, intermediate, middle school or all ages. I'll post a hit by January 17. (The medals are awarded Jan. 19, I believe, at ALA Midwinter.)
