TARGET: Summer City-Wide Reading Program

The Public Library and our school system are considering a joint sponsorship
of a city-wide summer reading of a particular book or books. It would be
nice to have one book that would appeal to a wide age-span. Of course, Harry
Potter has been mentioned. I'd like to know of other possibilities since I
think the Harry books are already well-read. Does anyone have suggestions?
