Book title question

Happy New Year everyone!
I have a question about a book. A long time ago, when I
was in junior high school,about 25 years ago (yikes!),I
read a book that I really enjoyed but I cannot remember
the title of the book. So, I thought, who better to ask
than LM Net? Here goes. I remember that it took place
in England, Scotland, or Wales as one of the characters
used to roam the moors at night. That was Judith, the
mad aunt of the main character. The main character was,
I believe, Briany, a young girl who moves to this
desolate place with her sister and father? Also, Briany
and her sister find an evil wooden doll in a tree and
the inscription on the back of the doll reads DIDO.
That's about all I can remember. If anyone can answer
this question, you guys can!
