I was just given several hundred dollars to fund a reading incentive program. I'm in a K-2 school. We do not use Accelerated Reader. This will be the first time I'm doing a reading program. I'm looking for advice on how to set up the program. Since I don't have any help and I'm on a fixed schedule, I need to set this up so that I don't become overwhelmed. Any ideas? Also, for this age level would you use minutes read? What about Kindergarten? Would you set up different criteria for them? If anyone has any ideas to share or forms, I would appreciate it. Thanks a lot.
