Re: Cataloging a book on Title IX

Hi,
  You must be using an older edition of Dewey.  The newest
Abridged Dewey places Title IX in 379.2 "Public Policies in
Education--Specific policy issues in public ed."
..Including educational equalization (equal education
opportunity), ..."

376 is no longer a valid number in Dewey.   The 370s were
recently reorganized in Dewey.
