I have been invited to speak to a class of students at our local community college which is studying teaching as a potential career. I feel like I want to read them a story, give them a snack of some kind, offer a door prize and of course enthuse about what we librarians do and allow them to ask questions. Any suggestions you have for what I should do, say, serve, read, etc. would be MOST appreciated. I don't yet know how much time I will be given but I would assume at least 30 minutes. Thank you for any help you can give!
