Does anyone have a policy about staff borrowing equipment? While we really want to encourage staff to use the digital cameras, video cameras, laptops, and so on, we have lost pieces of them. We do need to tighten up on checking the equipment as soon as it is returned, I know, but do you require staff to sign an agreement that they are responsible and agree to return it in the same condition, etc? Do you lend equipment to students? do you require them to sign anything?
