Re: teacher and lost/damaged books

I would not make the teacher pay for the books. This was clearly an
accident. Maybe the class could do something--like a bake sale at lunch
time to help raise money to replace the books. I have had students return
books in the recycling bin--you can bet that I will be telling teachers
what happened to you on Monday.
