Camera

Well, someone has stolen personal digital camera, along with other things,
from our vehicle this weekend AND now I am about to reinvest in ANOTHER
camera. I need suggestions. I want an easy/user friendly one because our
teachers and students used it at school also. I had an Olympus D-450. Price
needs to be around 500 if possible. I might could talk Mr.P, my husband,
into going a little higher.

Need some suggestions.

PS  The alarm went off on our vehicle and NO ONE even did a thing.  We were
probably about 10 minutes behind the incident according to a lady at a bus
terminal--she had heard a thud( the same boulder in my seat)and then an
alarm on a vehicle. AND on top of all that. The police did NOT even come.
They said they would send a police report to our insurance.
