LM_NET: Library Media Networking
Hello, Netters, :)
I'm hoping you all might have some suggestions for me in terms of how the AR
program handles students and classes. We are currently using AR with our
regular and special ed English, special ed study skills, physical science,
and biology classes. Most of our students use AR two or more classes. For
that reason, we have put students into classes by grades (9th, 10th, 11th,
12th). This means that when teachers go into the program to check points and
assign grades, they have to look up individual students rather than being
able to open up their classes. If you have students in two or more classes
for AR, how are you handling it?
I have requested that Renaissance Learning include a way to have students in
more than one class for the next program update. Actually, I've been
requesting it for three years now. :/ They say that there isn't enough
stated need or interest to make this change in the software, so they aren't
planning to do it. If this is a problem for you and you don't mind
contacting Renaissance Learning to ask for it, I would be most appreciative.
