TARGET: Online news services

Hi folks
Even though it is holiday time here (and the fires still burn in the south
coast areas of NSW, although those threatening Sydney have satisfied
themselves for now, but will be on the rampage as soon as the next NW wind
springs up) I am working on our Resource Centre webpage.  I am putting
together a page that I am calling "Beyond the walls" and creating links to
major newspapers, television networks and so forth.

I would like to include a News on the Net section and am hoping that you
might be able to provide me with the name and URL of reliable, trustworthy
sites such as CNN that I could include so if a student wanted to check
breaking news such as the September 11 crisis, they could just click on the
link.
